We all can agree that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it simply transforms. For a moment, move beyond energy as most commonly think of it and view energy, or the vibration of molecules, as also an emotion, thought pattern, or feeling. Know that this energy of emotion, thought, or feeling can affect our food, in the way we grow it, produce it, cook it, process it, and manufacture it.
Have you ever eaten at a restaurant offering high dollar menu options like steak and lobster tail; or maybe at one of those large banquets, feeding for the masses, but are left completely unsatisfied or let down? On the contrary, have you run into a small, seemingly grungy place, and been surprisingly served some of the best, most satisfying food you’ve ever eaten? What’s the difference between the two?
The intention, knowledge, care, and passion in which that food was prepared is the difference. Lobster tail and steak can be screwed up when 500+ plates are served assembly line style by folks who simply need the paycheck. You don’t need the finest fish or most expensive cut of meat for a feel good meal. In the best restaurants and of the finest chefs come food that is prepared with a passion… so much passion that you can taste it on your fork. It’s food made by kind-hearted folks with a pure intention to create, not just food, but a masterpiece, a literal work of art. You can cook with love and in some literal sense, eat love! You can cook with passion and in some literal sense, eat passion! You can cook with patience, and in some literal sense eat patience!
Transformation of your food occurs not just in the literal sense of preparing, cooking, or baking, but also in the mindset in which you prepare it wherein the energy of your emotion, thought, or feeling becomes yet another ingredient…
Makes you think for just a moment… If you can taste the ’energy’ that transmuated food via thought or emotion, what can you do for yourself via the food you eat? What can we do for each other via the food you eat? What can you do for the Earth via the food you eat?
Learn how to cook with intent and transform your food for powerful healing.
